Description
Description
TriRoof Flex is a high‑performance GRP liquid roofing system designed for flat roof repair and overlay applications.
Cold applied for safe, efficient installation, it bonds seamlessly to asphalt, felt, timber, concrete and existing GRP roofs, making it one of the most versatile fibreglass roofing systems available.
The system uses a specialised primer (one primer covers 90% of substrates), reinforced matting and a Modified Polyester Resin topcoat in dark grey, all cured with BPO hardener for consistent, durable results.
Independently tested and quality assured, Flex achieves the highest fire rating, BRoof (T4), resisting fire penetration for up to 60 minutes and delivering long‑term protection and peace of mind.
Product Use
To be used in conjunction with the MultiFlex GRP Roofing System Primer to form a flexible Class 1 EXT. F.A.A. fire retardant system for use on external flat roofs.
Liquid Properties
Dark Grey, low viscosity, easy to apply & air free. The TriRoof MultiFlex GRP Roofing System Topcoat exhibits effective air release properties, excellent cure at low temperatures and film levelling characteristic.

Application
TriRoof MultiFlex GRP Roofing System Topcoat should be ideally used between temperatures of 5°C-30⁰C. Gently agitate the Topcoat before use and leave to stand for a short period of time to allow the material to regain the thixotropy. Add 2% – 5% of Benzoyl Peroxide Dibuthyl Maleate (50%) to the Topcoat for a sufficient cure. Care must be taken to avoid incorporating air into the material when mixing. Apply the Topcoat evenly over the primed substrate surface. Avoid any water contamination to the Topcoat surface prior to full cure. Water tight after 40 minutes and curation.
Storage & Packaging
Store away from any direct sunlight in the original, factory sealed airtight containers. Avoid storing outdoors. Store below 20⁰C but freezing conditions must be avoided. The shelf life & properties of the Topcoat can be adversely affected by incorrect storage conditions. Only open containers immediately before use & close airtight after use. Use within 4 months of date of manufacture.
