Elevate EPDM Cover Tape is 6 inches wide and has been specially designed to cover, protect and seal batten strips and when joining two pieces of EPDM (where there is no overlap).

Description
This 6-inch wide Elevate EPDM Cover Tape is designed to seal and protect batten strips or join two EPDM sheets where there’s no overlap.
It’s made from a semi-cured EPDM membrane bonded to a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and must always be used with Tape Primer for strong adhesion to EPDM and similar surfaces. Its extra width makes it more effective than narrower alternatives.
Before use, make sure the tape is at room temperature and surfaces are properly primed. Centre the EPDM cover tape over the batten bar or seam, avoiding overlaps at T-junctions. Always follow Elevate’s installation guidelines.
Leave at least a 75 mm overlap at the start and end of each batten strip. When connecting two cover strips, allow a 25 mm overlap and use a QuickSeam FormFlash patch for a secure, waterproof seal.
